Your first login

  • Starter pack

Talk to the GM Shop, next to the gatekeeper in every main town, for your starter pack: shots and potions, once per account, up to level 5.

  • Class changes

Class changes are free: click the question mark that shows up at levels 20, 40 and 76.

  • Skills

Skills are learned automatically as you level. Skills that need a book still need it.

  • Hellbound

Hellbound is open without its quest.

Starter gear and your next upgrades

Claim free rewards at the GM Shop in town or from the GM Shop tab on your character page. To claim on the site, log the character out of the game completely.

Starter gear cannot be traded, exchanged, crystallized or augmented. You can enchant it with scrolls and add attributes in game; website enchanting is unavailable.

Keep farming for scrolls, recipes, parts and materials. Craft, loot or buy Vesper and other normal equipment to progress beyond the starter sets. Buying level 85 for 30 Coins of Luck keeps the same reward eligibility; it does not reset claims.

Max HP from enchanting

Armor also gains max HP from +4, by grade. The bonus stops growing at +12, and one-piece armor gets 1.5 times as much. Body armor, helmets, gloves, boots, cloaks, shirts, belts and shields get it; weapons and jewelry do not (S80 and S84 count as S). You get a message with the exact amount when you enchant or equip a piece.

Buffs

  • Where to buff

Buff at the buffer in town, with saved schemes.

  • Price

Free up to level 76, then 200 Adena per buff.

  • Slots

24 buff slots and 12 for songs and dances.

Travel

  • Gatekeepers

Gatekeepers are free up to level 76.

Dark Omens farming

At level 85, use a town gatekeeper to enter Catacomb of Dark Omens. Both farming routes are at the top of the teleport list.

Catacomb of Dark Omens Farming Zone
The gold route leads to the regular farming area, where normal open-world PvP rules apply.
Catacomb of Dark Omens PVP Farming Zone
The red route leads inside the PvP area. Arena combat rules apply, and loot quantities are doubled while you and the monster stay inside. On-screen messages tell you when you enter or leave the combat zone.

Seal stones and Ancient Adena

Exchange the seal stones you collect for Ancient Adena at the GM Shop. Use AA for CP and mana potions, or trade it with other players. Rare S-grade enchant scrolls can also drop here.

Hunting and trading

  • Auto-play

Type .play in chat for auto-play.

  • Auto CP

Type .autocp to toggle automatic use of CP potions. Both sizes use their normal cooldowns.

  • Auto-loot

Drops go straight to your inventory, except from raid bosses.

  • Farmers and crafters

Keep recipes, equipment parts and crafting materials to sell, or find a crafter to turn them into equipment you can trade and upgrade.

  • Offline shops

Set up a private store in town, then just log out or type .offline. Your character stays in place with a gray name and keeps trading while you’re away.

  • Coins of Luck

Coins of Luck come from playing time, raid bosses, Olympiad and events. Spend them on the GM Shop or on upgrades here on the site.

GM Shop

  • For Adena

Shots, potions, scrolls, arrows, enchant scrolls up to A grade and boss items.

  • For Coins of Luck

Hats and masks, Forgotten Scrolls, level 85, Noblesse and clan level 11.

  • Starter gear

Bound S-grade starter gear at 76 and Dynasty at 80, one set per grade and character. Starter gear can be enchanted with scrolls and given attributes in game, but not augmented. At 84, choose one Vesper armor recipe pack per account; craft, loot or trade for Vesper.

  • Mana and elixirs

Mana Drug restores more MP over time than Mana Potion. Buy both with Ancient Adena at the GM Shop. Elixirs cost Adena, share a cooldown and cannot be used in Olympiad.

At 85, start playing together.

Keep farming and improving your gear, but find a clan while you do it. Clan wars and sieges give your party something to fight for; epic bosses give other clans a reason to show up.
